We are a talented group of Black Chicago Authors who have banded together to form a network to highlight our work. Our goal is to bring our novels and literary publications to the forefront for the reading public.
We are dedicated to being a Chicago Renaissance for both urban literature and fiction/non-fiction in general.
From romance to comedy; children to fantasy; history and culture to inspirational and religious; we know that we can fulfill whatever form of literary works your mind desires.

THOMPSON CENTER - AUGUST 18 - 20TH
The Chicago Black Author's Network is again at the Thompson Center for THREE DAYS. Come out and support some of the most talented authors that are in the Chicago area. We'll be there daily from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. Tell a friend.
Our Thompson Center event was a success. Every author sold at least one book and the exposure we got by being in downtown Chicago was and is always worth the cost.
Authors, advertising your book is always the best way to get on the radar for the reading public. With literacy being an issue, people are still reading but they are reading TEXT MESSAGES.
People will still read and buy a book that appeals to them. We will be back at the Thompson Center in December. Stay Tuned.
We are currently meeting to discuss our venues that we have planned for the rest of the summer months. Keep checking back as we will be hosting a writer's conference and getting ready to accept new membership for the first of the year.
We are growing bigger and bigger. So don't get left behind. We are becoming known for having some of the finest writers and books events in town.

This blogsite is developed and maintained by CBAN author Arlene Jones. Every author must have a website so that people can read exerpts from their book or a sample poem or two.
Each blog is customed designed to match the colors and feel to go along with their book. My rates are very reasonable ($100 - $200 max) and includes two free consulatations after the blog is finished. References are available.
Most authors rarely have to update their blogs when it comes to books. I can also have your blog accept paypal so that you can get orders off the internet.
