WHO WE ARE

We are a talented group of Black Chicago Authors who have banded together to form a network to highlight our work. Our goal is to bring our novels and literary publications to the forefront for the reading public.

We are dedicated to being a Chicago Renaissance for both urban literature and fiction/non-fiction in general.

From romance to comedy; children to fantasy; history and culture to inspirational and religious; we know that we can fulfill whatever form of literary works your mind desires.

CBAN WINTER BOOK FESTIVAL ON THE WESTSIDE

On Saturday December 4, 2010, CBAN will again hosts its Annual Book Winter Festival.   This time, we are coming to the WestSide.   We will be at Chez Roue Banquet Hall, 5200 W. Chicago Avenue.    It is the large bank building on the northwest side of the street.

We will be there from 11:00am until 5:00pm.

At 3:00, we will host a forum on getting your book published.   The forum is free with the purchase of a book from one of our authors.   Otherwise we ask that you pay $10.00 to get all the information you will ever need about getting published, marketing your book, designing a cover, etc.

For more information, feel free to contact Arlene at 773-330-6277.

PLENTY OF FREE PARKING IS AVAILABLE!

BUY A BOOK AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT!   Why a book?   Because a book is food for the mind.  A book is the gift of a lifetime.  A book can be read over and over again.  And buying a book from CBAN helps to support local authors.

SO WHERE DO YOU NEED TO GO TO FIND THAT GOOD BOOK?
